About Laurel

Laurel Prats is a young, ambitious agent who has quickly gained a reputation for providing outstanding real estate services to home buyers, sellers and investors.  Growing up in a family of real estate developers and home builders, Laurel has a unique insight into all aspects of the real estate market.  She graduated from Tulane University with a B.A. in Economics and was brought back into the business by her love for real estate and desire to help people find their dream home.

Laurel is a top producing agent at Turnquist Partners and was recently awarded the Platinum Top 50 Agents of Austin.  Her unique approach to home selling has earned rave reviews from her clients.   By leveraging the variables that affect a home’s price, Laurel helps clients get the maximum value for their home.  She specializes in e-Marketing and uses the Internet to give her clients a competitive advantage.  Laurel believes in honesty and transparency and provides each client with a personalized action plan and marketing budget for their home.  She strives to go above and beyond what other real estate agents offer and believes her extraordinary service is the reason she has so many repeat clients and referrals.

Laurel is a member of NAR, TAR, ABOR, MLS, HAR, Who's Who in Luxury Real Estate, the Board of Regents, the Institute of Luxury Home Marketing, and Austin's Platinum Top 50.  Her designations include Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CHLMS), Master Certified Negotiation Expert (MCNE), and Transnational Referral Certified (TRC).

Outside of real estate, Laurel enjoys spending time with her family and two sheepdogs.  Her hobbies include traveling, dining, music and the arts, movies, cultures and languages, and enjoying everything that Austin has to offer!
